Fleet & inventory

Every can is a record, not a guess.

Unit number, serial, live status, GPS with photos, and lifetime history — for every container you own. This is the ground truth the whole engine runs on: if the fleet board says it’s available, it’s bookable; if it’s not, it isn’t.

What you get

The fleet, fully accounted for.

Per-can everything

Unit number, serial, status lifecycle, GPS + last-known location with photos, and lifetime rental, tonnage, and repair counters on every container.

Governed status

One authorized write path for unit state — no mystery edits. Every change is audit-trailed: who, when, and which order moved the can.

Pool protection

Combo bookings consume real base-can stock with a configurable floor — so selling a 30 built from two 15s never starves your single-can customers.

On the boards

Status you can run a yard on.

Why it matters

Most software tracks orders and hopes the cans follow. FleetEngine tracks the physical cans: bookability comes from real stock and active holds, which is why double-booking is structurally impossible, not just discouraged.
